Over 16 years electrical experience in mostly commercial/industrial.   Started with Sullivan Electric wiring prisons and medical office buildings. Next job with Pan American Electric involved working on Centennial Hospital and Columbia HCA Corporate Headquarters.  In 1997 at Providence Hospital in Mobile Al was promoted to Assistant Superintendant.  Moved back to Nashville to become an assistant estimator in PAE office. Assisted other small electrical contractors in starting their businesses before partnering up with his father, Terry Blount, and started Blount & Associates, LLC.
